Racist Good Old Boy Network (G.O.B.N) in full action, Oust Black Police Chief

 

If you have ever wondered what is meant when the phrase
"Good Old Boy Network" is used, check out this story of Jasper, T. X.'s removal of their first Black Chief of Police, Rodney Pearson.

Just a reminder, Jasper, T. X. is the city that "3" white men, roped a black man, drug him behind their truck, which eventually decapitated Mr. Byrd, and the State Trooper that found his body was Rodney Pearson, the removed Police Chief.

14 years after the dragging of Mr. Byrd, Rodney Pearson became the First Black Police Chief, hired by Jasper City Council on a 4-1 vote.  The City Council at the time had 4 black members, and 1 white member, which is how the votes submitted, to hire Rodney Pearson as the first Black Police Chief in Jasper City's history.

However, the predominantly white town wasn't happy with having a black police chief, thus, the "Good Old Boy Network" was set in place.

Good Old Boy Network In Action

Step 1. Get other people on your side

The Mayor, who is white, owned the local radio station, KJAS 107.3 fm, which was used to hold conversations demeaning Police Chief Pearson.

Step 2. Get rid of people who would go against the Good Old Boys Network.

The 4 City Council Members that voted in favor of hiring Mr. Pearson as Police Chief, became the focus of the "Good Old Boy Network", which subsequently resulted in the "removal" of the 4 City Council Members based on a recall.

Step 3. Hire the Good Old Boy type that will be a "weapon"

Once the 4 City Council Members that voted Mr. Jasper in, were removed, the new City Council Members were placed in their positions, and a new Police Chief was hired.

The Good Old Boy Network is any group of people, all with different jobs and responsibilities, at different levels in a company, or in a society, or in a state, or in a nation, all collude together to abuse, mistreat, harassed, bully, beat up, assault or kill, people that the good old boy network chooses to focus on.

The Good Old Boy Network, in this instance, is a racist issue, in that, the town is known to be racially bias, and the participants in this issue, are the predominantly white citizens and racial slurs being used, the removal of all the black council members, and the replacement of the black council members with white council members, and the subsequent installation of a white police chief.

The Subsequent actions of the city council of Jasper, T. X. has cause the insurance company that covers the city of Jasper against any laws suits associated with specific actions has removed the city of Jasper's Insurance, which means that all the current council members for the city of Jasper will have no insurance against an obvious case of "Racial Discrimination" against the Police Chief, and all 4 City Council Members who were fired to be replaced by those who favor the good old boys.

Simple case for Mr. Pearson's Lawyer, but, this is an example of what the "Good Old Boy Network" is, and how it performs it's cancerous actions.
