Police Slam Woman to the Ground twice, and then "fist bump" their actions
Caught On Camera: 2 LAPD Officers Investigated For Use Of Force During Arrest

LAPD commander removed in probe of rough arrest

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A Los Angeles Police Department commanding officer has been removed amid an internal investigation into a videotaped beating in which officers tackled a handcuffed registered nurse to the ground, police Chief Charlie Beck said Wednesday.

Beck said previously that he had "serious concerns" about the use of force against Michelle Jordan, 34, who was arrested in the Tujunga area on Aug. 21 after being stopped for talking on a cellphone while driving, police said.

Jordan got out of the car and cursed the two officers who stopped her, witnesses and Jordan's husband told KNBC-TV.

Fast-food restaurant surveillance video obtained by the TV station (bit.ly/NVptHP ) showed officers taking her to the ground. After she is handcuffed and walked to a police car, the 5-foot-4 woman is tackled a second time by an officer who lands on top of her.

"She made some unwise moves," her attorney, Sy Nazif, told the station. "But certainly nothing that warranted a physical assault from the LAPD."

Photos show scrapes on Jordan's face, shoulders and chest.

The officers involved in the incident have been removed from patrol duty until an LAPD investigation is complete. One is a 22-year veteran and the other is a probationary officer with 10 months on the force.

Beck said at a news conference Wednesday that Capt. Joseph Hitner of the department's Foothill Division was "severely deficient in his response," Beck said.

"Proper steps were not taken, including appropriate notifications and the removal of the involved officers from the field," Beck said. "Because of these issues, I have removed him from his command and initiated downgrade procedures. Every Los Angeles police officer, regardless of rank, will be held accountable for their actions."

Police Brutality is a Nation Wide Problem

Around this nation, its not unusual to read stories about "Police Abuse" in the minority communities, but, what's starting to become more reported instances of abuses are Police Brutality against "Whites", which is an indication that the problems of abuses within law enforcement are either getting more reports as a result of video recordings by more citizens or the increase in abuses of law enforcement by whites is becoming a growing problem as well.

In this instance, a woman parks her car in a parking lot, and the cops pull up behind her, and after she gets out of her car, that's when the action starts.

It appears to represent the degree of arrogance that a police offer feels when he feels that a citizen has challenge him/her in any fashion, which for this young lady, her getting out of her car caused these to white male police officers to treat her like some male criminal who has physical capabilities that may harm them.

Not only did the two cops slam this woman to the asphalt once, but, after she was in hand cuffs, one of the cops pulled her from the back seat and slammed her again, and her pictures reflect the degree of force in which her body impacted the ground.

I've stated it many times in the past, and I'll state it again, police officers around the U.S. have become nothing more that "Gangs with Badges" roaming our streets.  The lack of educational requirements ensures that police officers are those that would use physical force first, rather than mental applications to the situation at hand.

We have a "Nation Law Enforcement Problem" and not just a individual state problem. Often times, you'll hear that there are only a few among the whole that are problems.

However, if you take a national look, a few in each state.., now that few per state become a huge number of police officers that abuse, lie, or commit crimes, while their working on the job.

This woman didn't deserve to be slammed like a feared criminal simply to appease the ego of two officers.  And, it's apparent, once again, that the video camera refutes the description that the two police officers provided in their report of the arrest.
