Ernestine Shepherd: The 75-year-old bodybuilding grandma
The world's oldest female bodybuilder wakes up every day at 02:30 to fit in a 10 mile (16km) run before hitting the gym.
But 75-year-old Ernestine Shepherd insists that "age is nothing but a number".
"Miss Ernie", as she is known in the world of competitive bodybuilding, began training at the tender age of 71.
She says her true calling in life, however, is helping others to follow a more healthy lifestyle.
The BBC caught up with her at an exercise class at her church in the US city of Baltimore, Maryland, to find out why she started bodybuilding and what competitors say when they see they are up against a grandmother.

Today is
The Fountain of Youth &
The Known Anti Aging Tool
Ernestine Shepherd is a true inspiration for me, and I hope that you also find some type of encouragement from her living example.
At 75 years of age, Ernestine Shepherd still runs 10 miles every morning and is considered the world oldest body builder, and for those who may not thinks so, she is still a hotty at the age of 75.
Ernestine started working out at 56, which provides a example to all that would think that your to old to start, and for those who think that you have to have had a background in athletics..., wrong, Ernestine did no athletics in her life's past.
At What Age are you to Old to start?
The Body can develop muscles at any age, and for a lot of people, the more mature you are, the easier the muscle is to develop. Starting to workout for the first time at the age of 60 will only provide a better life for your future.
In your 40s and 50s are great ages to start body building, due to the specific intent of body building as compared to running. Body Building is the development of all the muscles in the body, and by doing so, you actually re-shape your body's physical appearance to the shape that you can design by doing specific exercises for specific muscle groups.
Additionally, increasing ones muscle development increases the amount of calories that your body burn each day.
Everyone doesn't want to be a body builder
Agreed, however, everyone can develop and reshape their body to become what you have already wanted it to look like by simply doing weight resistance exercise.
Here's the deal, body building develops from the inside out, and running burns from the outside in, thus, the perfect body and the perfect physical fitness design is to develop under layering muscle while also performing some type of cardio exercises.
Ernestine Shepherd provides the best example of what any human can do if one decides to actually do it.
Age is no factor in physical fitness. JUST DO IT.
